Weekend volunteering - We’ll provide all the tools and explanations, but we need your willing hands and smiles. Sims Hill provides local vegetables in Bristol, grown using natural farming methods. We also run social projects for and with the local community. Our veg shares are similar to a veg box scheme, but we are member-owned and co-operatively run by and for our members. Volunteer at Sims Hill – help us get vegetables into the ground and keep the farm running! You can get out in the fresh air, learn about growing and meet new people. We don’t expect any horticultural knowledge from volunteers, we will show you how to do any tasks. You can come and help us whether you are a member of Sims Hill or not.
