The Welcoming Spaces network was set up in October 2022 to support residents over the autumn and winter. However, many of the spaces are still continuing to operate and are ready to give you a warm welcome. Most Welcoming Spaces are run by local people for local people. They are informal spaces open to all. You can sit, socialise with others, take part in activities and access support. What is available at each Welcoming Space will vary but may include: community activities, including homework club, community meals and film nights, access to computers, free wifi and charging points, access to support about money, welfare and mental wellbeing. Contact us for more information about how to access Welcoming Spaces in your area.
