Carer Friendly are delivering free 30minute unpaid carer awareness sessions to community councils and community groups across Gwent.
These sessions can be delivered in person or virtually via Microsoft Teams and Zoom platforms.
The session will cover basic information about who unpaid carers are, the types of roles that they undertake and free localised support that is available to carers.
There will be opportunity for questions and free signposting materials will be provided that can be shared and displayed within the community.
This is a great opportunity for community councils and community groups to understand and connect with unpaid carers in their area and show their support to them
