Volunteers to transport essential staff to and from work and drive staff to patients for home care in extreme weather conditions.
- Over 25 years of age
- Reliable, dependable and punctual
- Great people skills, friendly and approachable
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Able to carry out role on own initiative and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake appropriate training
- Clean current driving licence and own a suitable 4x4 vehicle equipped for snow and ice, or have written permission to use a 4x4
- To provide transport of essential staff to and from work and drive staff to patients for home care in extreme weather
- To transport essential equipment between Health Board sites
- To ensure car is road worthy before each journey
- To always adhere to the lone worker policy
- To adhere to Infection Control current policies and guidelines
