Opportunities exist for volunteers at the railway in a wide range of roles including, retail, landscaping, engineering, station staff, ticket office, ticket inspectors, building maintenance, repairs and decorating, catering, as well as training for driving and maintaining locomotives.
We provide on site training for all the above roles and welcome anyone over the age of 14 (although there may be restrictions on the roles available for people under the age of 16).
We operate every weekend between April and the end of September as well as bank holidays and wednesdays during the school summer holidays.
