he Community Winter Support Fund (CWSF) is a new fund hosted by Torfaen Voluntary Alliance. The purpose of this grant is to help and support those under pressure during the winter period. The fund can be accessed by third sector and not for profit organisations/groups to support any age group and we welcome your ideas on how to do so. The grant awarding panel meets fortnightly, resulting in a quick turnaround for successful bids.
Examples of projects/activities considered:
- Food hampers
- Home Fuel vouchers
- Transportation to social groups to tackle isolation
- Winter clothing for all ages
