In January 2021 Diabetes UK Cymru launched a series of monthly meetings on Zoom to help support people with diabetes throughout the pandemic. The sessions cover a variety of topics, such as fitness, cooking demonstrations and healthy eating, footcare, Diabetes UK resources and others.
In our next virtual diabetes peer support session we will be joined by Richard Shaw from Cooking Together Wales who will be doing a live cooking demonstration, he will show us how to ‘beat the takeaway’ by making something healthier at home!
