Free Course: Designing Digital Services
ProMo-Cymru is running a free modular course for third sector organisations in Wales.
Designing Digital Services is a practical course facilitated through the Newid programme, funded by the Welsh Government. It aims to empower third sector organisations in Wales to digitally transform services using the Service Design methodology.
Individuals or teams from organisations will be supported to design, test and develop new digital/hybrid services or rethink existing services. During the programme participants will:
- Get the opportunity to solve a real-life challenge that your organisation is facing
- Dedicate time and space to test out new ideas and approaches
- Learn new things about your service users and their needs
- Receive mentoring and guidance from digital experts
- Learn how to develop digital services that are person-centred by using the Service Design methodology
- Experiment with new digital tools
- Gain access to digital tools and resources
Who is this course for?
To register for this free course, you must work for a Welsh third sector organisation. You can sign up either because you are curious about digital services and want to know more, or because you are currently designing (or redesigning) a digital service.
What’s the course format?
The course consists of 2 parts. The first one is a webinar introducing the Service Design methodology and why it works for digital services. You can chose to only attend the first module, or if you have a service design project you complete the second part where we will support you in developing your digital service.
Important dates:
- Application deadline – 7th of June 2022
- Webinar: Introduction to digital service design – 8th June or 14th June, 10am-1pm (on Zoom)
- In person prototyping – 13th July (there is a potential for another date depending on numbers)

Cwrs am ddim: Cynllunio Gwasanaethau Digidol
Mae ProMo-Cymru yn cynnal cwrs modwlar am ddim ar gyfer sefydliadau’r trydydd sector yng Nghymru.
Mae Cynllunio Gwasanaethau Digidol yn gwrs ymarferol wedi ei hwyluso gan raglen Newid, sydd yn cael ei ariannu gan Lywodraeth Cymru. Bwriad y cwrs yw grymuso sefydliadau’r trydydd sector yng Nghymru i drawsnewid gwasanaethau digidol gan ddefnyddio’r fethodoleg Cynllunio Gwasanaeth.
Bydd unigolion neu grwpiau o’r sefydliadau yn cael eu cefnogi i gynllunio, profi a datblygu gwasanaethau digidol/hybrid newydd neu i ail-feddwl gwasanaethau sydd eisoes yn bodoli. Yn ystod y rhaglen, bydd y cyfranogwyr yn:
- Cael cyfle i ddatrys problemau go iawn sy’n wynebu eu sefydliad
- Ymroi amser i brofi syniadau a dulliau newydd
- Dysgu pethau newydd am ddefnyddwyr eu gwasanaeth a’u hanghenion
- Derbyn mentora ac arweiniad gan arbenigwyr digidol
- Dysgu sut i ddatblygu gwasanaethau digidol sy’n canolbwyntio ar y person gan ddefnyddio’r fethodoleg Cynllunio Gwasanaeth
- Arbrofi gydag adnoddau digidol newydd
- Cael mynediad i adnoddau digidol
I bwy mae’r cwrs yma?
I gofrestru ar gyfer y cwrs am ddim yma, mae’n rhaid i chi fod yn gweithio i sefydliad trydydd sector yng Nghymru. Os oes gennych chi ddiddordeb mewn gwasanaethau digidol ac eisiau deall mwy, neu os ydych chi eisoes wrthi’n cynllunio (neu’n ail-gynllunio) gwasanaeth digidol, yna ewch ati i gofrestru.
Beth yw fformat y cwrs?
Mae’r cwrs mewn 2 ran. Y rhan cyntaf yw gweminar sydd yn cyflwyno’r fethodoleg Cynllunio Gwasanaeth a pham fod hwn yn llwyddiannus ar gyfer gwasanaethau digidol. Gallwch ddewis mynychu’r modiwl cyntaf yn unig, neu os oes gennych chi brosiect cynllunio gwasanaeth ar y gweill gallwch gwblhau’r ail ran ble rydym yn eich cefnogi i ddatblygu eich gwasanaeth digidol.
