Gardeners are often considered inherently hopeful because the act of sowing seeds represents a tangible expression of optimism about the future. This session seeks to build the right foundations for you to start your very own journey as a hopeful gardener by guiding you through the very first step to nurturing life; growing from seed. We will cover: - Tips on seed selection - How to choose the right containers - Different types of compost and growing media - Aftercare and growing on of seedlings The workshop is completely free of charge and anyone is welcome to attend, however you will need to reserve your space.
