Join GWT and local entomologist Liam Olds for a closer look at the numerous and often rare species found at the post-industrial site known as The British.

Heather clad hillsides, species rich grasslands and pyramids of coal spoil make this site a haven for wildlife.

This event is part of a project with TCBC and funded through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.

The British is a former mining site and there may be hazards in the area. Participants should keep to designated pathways and areas of the site as identified by event/activity staff.
