We are in urgent need of volunteer support or possibly face closure.
Torfaen Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets - TS Kittiwake are required to hold an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) on the 28th April 2022 at 18:30 to urgently discuss the unfilled positions on the Unit Management Trustees e.g. treasurer to populate the spreadsheets with income and expenditure to ensure charity compliance and others to assist with fundraising, building and maintenance, community engagement etc.
We also need Instructors aged 18+ to support the delivery of the training programme. Full training will be provided.
Without volunteers coming forward we are at serious risk of closure.
We really want to continue providing the best possible opportunities for our young people but are urgently seeking your help to allow TS Kittiwake to remain open as an affiliated unit of the Sea Cadets or we face the potential of closure. We cannot express are sincere sadness and the importance of this.
If you are able to spare a fraction of your time to support our need, we would hugely appreciate you getting in touch and your presence on the 28th April from 18:30 at the Unit, Mount Pleasant Road, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran Torfaen NP44 1AN.
